more modern build: Wall-E (set 21303) released in 2015.

LEGO Storage - Billy Bookcase/Oxberg Combo Display
Sorting out the little box room upstairs has been an ongoing project
since we moved into our house over a year ago. As well as stuff from the initial move, I
have had 16 boxes of stuff shipped over from Japan and have built one full-size
IKEA Billy bookcase and one half-sized Billy to go in there for storage.

LEGO Black Seas Barracuda (Set 6285) Time-lapse Build
I had the house to myself and full use of the kitchen table for the
day so recorded a time-lapse build of this classic set. Turned out pretty okay I
think!

The Art of the Brick - Exhibition
Last
weekend we attempted to go to a massive LEGO convention called Brick 2014 - but with it being
ridiculously popular and completely sold out (note: must pre-order tickets well
in advance next time!) we settled for the The Art of the Brick instead - a globally
touring art exhibition that is currently in it's UK residence in London.

Having
just hit 2000 followers on Instagram,
I though I would celebrate with a little behind the scenes look at my Lego
photography process. I’ve had a few people asking me about my photos and so
hopefully this will give a little insight into how I work.

10 Steps To Becoming Insta-famous!
So it’s been a bit
quiet on the writing about LEGO front, since my previous series of articles a
few months ago (that starts HERE)
which chronicles the times when I first started getting back into LEGO. But I
have actually been busy, mostly with taking more photos of LEGO and, especially in the
past few weeks, attempting to push thing more on the social media front.

Follow me on Tumblr!
Sorry for the lack of recent updates - have been busy on other front but will be back with regular updates here soon.
In the meantime, as my Instagram account has been gaining traction, I've also decided to start up a Tumblr account to display my Lego photos in all their glory. I'll still upload them here and elsewhere too (a big Lego post is heading this way shortly) but in the meantime you can check it out HERE.
I'll update it with a few photos each day until I catch up with my Instagram and then they will go up on the same day.
Thanks for your patience and expect more content coming this way soon!
