So much for the promise of more writing this
year. What was actually written was zilch. Zip. Nada. But you know… stuff’s
changed. Priorities and all of that. Work has stepped up a gear, bought a house,
become an alcoholic… what else is new?

So as per the last couple of years, the deal is
the same: here is a list of all the films I watched in 2019 (that I haven’t
seen before). Only the ones in bold are actual 2019 releases, and will be
eligible to be listed in my Top 10. ‘So
why for the sake of all that is holy do you even bother to list the others
then?’, I hear you cry. Well tradition mostly, or maybe it just makes a
